The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) held the 8th African Tax Research Network (ATRN) from 29-31 August 2023 at the Johari Rotana Hotel in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) held the 8th African Tax Research Network (ATRN), hosted by the Tanzania Revenue Authority, from 29-31 August 2023 at the Johari Rotana Hotel in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.


Over 235 people from all over Africa and other parts of the world convened to discuss Contemporary Taxation Issues in Africa. Participants from Ministries of Finance, African Tax Administrations, Civil Society, Academia, and Development Partners, Captains of Industry, media practitioners and other key partners and individual tax policy experts attended the ATRN Congress.
