OTR raises awareness around the Women in tax network

On Wednesday 8th December 2021 the Office Togolais des Recettes (OTR) launched an awareness campaign around the network for women working in the field of taxation. The Women in tax network (AWITN) is an innovation of the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF), inspired from the fact that women are poorly represented in the field of tax, especially at the highest levels of tax administration in Africa.

The network aims to provide a platform for female tax professionals to meet, exchange ideas and hone their talents and skills.

The launch was marked by a rich panel discussion with the theme "How to assert oneself as a woman in a male-dominated field?” The event was attended by Mrs. Awa Nana-Daboya, national Ombudsman and Patroness of the OTR Women's Association, Mrs. Ahlonkoba Aithnard, Minister-Advisor to the President of the Republic, and OTR Commissioner General Phillippe Kokou Tchodie, current ATAF Chairman.
